Choose a book below to begin your study. Each commentary includes a series of articles that I have written for each verse (or small group of verses) of the book. You can use them for a study of a complete Bible book, or you can choose a particular verse or passage from the book for study. Some of my books are also available to buy from Amazon

Welcome to the Useful Bible Study Centre. My name is Keith Simons. I am a Bible teacher with many years of experience, and I formerly led the EasyEnglish Bible Commentary team at MissionAssist. I have prepared these articles and lessons to help you to study the Bible. Everything on this website is free of charge to read or to download. These studies are for everyone who teaches the Bible to others; they are also suitable for use in private study. They follow the EasyEnglish system (2800 word vocabulary and simple sentence structure) developed by MissionAssist (formerly Wycliffe Associates UK), to make them easier to understand. They are suitable for first language English speakers as well as those learning English as a second language.
