1. Read 2 Kings 19:32-37. That passage describes an occasion when God saved Jerusalem from the king of Assyria’s vast army.
2. The *New Testament also teaches that God will defeat his enemies completely. Then he will establish his government on the earth. Read Revelation 19:11 to 20:6.
3. Find out what the *New Testament teaches about Christians and their enemies. These passages will help you: Matthew 5:10-12; Matthew 5:38-48; Mark 13:9-11; 2 Timothy 4:14-18.
