May my prayer be set before you
Like the fragrant temple incense.
May the lifting of my hands be like
The evening sacrifice.
May my heart resist temptation.
May my mouth speak words of kindness.
And may my head not reject
The oil of sound advice.

I look to you, Lord.
I trust in you, Lord.
In you, I find safety.
I call to you, Lord.
Come quickly, Lord.
Come and rescue me.
